One Flesh

One Flesh

Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." Psalms 16:1-2

One of the things I like the most about psalmist David is the honesty that he used when comunicating with God. Certainly he had the security that God was not in the heavens, far, but that He is interested in his emotions, and needs. Therefore He wants for us to come trustfull to His Throne of Grace.

When we are able to acknowlede the need to be guided by God, and we understand that we belong to Him and that He belongs to us, then supernatural things begin to happen in our lives.

It is not enough to say we believe in God, go to Church on Sundays,or even be members of a Church; being part of a ministry or give tithes or offerings, we can be doing all this and not know God the way He wants us to know Him.

He wants a close relationship. He wants our whole spirit, soul, and body to be connected to Him, searching always in each moment to do His will, looking for the revelation of His purposes for our lives. So that His glory and power may manifest, and that everyone who is near us, have to acknowledge that everything is because of Him.

The Church is compared with Jesus' bride, that which is going to be the wife. The Word of God talks about when a couple is united in marriage, they come to be one flesh. That’s the idea God has of our relation with him, one flesh.

Can you imagine every day you open your eyes knowing that all your circumstances will be managed to your favor by your Father? Each day, in the hands of the Creator, is the opportunity to come up one step in Victory's ladder. You were designed for that.

I pray that you may say like David did in verses 8 and 9 of this Psalm.

"I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;my body also will rest secure."

This is the main key to OVERCOME...

I bless you in the name of the Lord!!
